Humbucker Wiring
Swineshead humbuckers come with a four conductor cable and all follow the same wiring code.

Green = start of south coil
White = end of south coil

Black = start of north coil
Red = end of north coil

Standard Humbucker Wiring
For standard humbucker series wiring the red and white wires will be soldered together and insulated with tape. The black wire should be soldered to the hot connection on the guitar whilst the green wire and bare wires should both be soldered to ground.

Single Coil Wiring
Swineshead Single Coils follow the following wiring code.

Black (hot) = start of coil
White (ground) = end of coil

The black wire should be soldered to the hot connection on the guitar whilst the white wire should be soldered to ground.

Height Set-up
The bridge pickup is usually set about 2 - 3mm (3/32') from the strings but it can be adjusted to your taste. Moving the pickup closer to the strings will increase output and bass response whilst moving the pickup away from the strings will give a clearer, lower output sound. Once the bridge pickup's height is set the neck pickup can then be adjusted so that it gives a similar output to the bridge.
