Tone: The SH90 is a single coil pickup in a humbucker housing which will fit any guitar that would normally use standard humbuckers. This opens up a range of unique and previously unavailable tones.

Because the SH90 is wider than a conventional single coil (and therefore detects a greater length of the strings above) it produces a a crisp, clear tone that sounds with more warmth than standard single coils yet has more high end and less bass than a humbucker.

The SH90 sounds great in the neck position mixed with a bridge position humbucker. This setup gives the power of a humbucker in the bridge position but switching to the neck position opens up a range of crystal clear cleans for a truly versatile guitar setup.

The SH90 works particularly well with our Condor, Runaway, A.M.P. and Warthog humbuckers.

Construction: The neck position pickup has been reverse wound with reverse polarity (sometimes called RWRP). This allows hum canceling in the middle position on a standard 3 way switch. Please contact us if you would like to order a neck position SH90 that isn't RWRP.

Each pickup  comes with the screws needed to mount it in your guitar.
