Tone: The Apex is an 8 string humbucker that provides a powerful tone that is perfect for rock and metal players. Played dirty it delivers an aggressive tone that maintains clarity across all eight strings, played clean the Apex has a versatile, bold tone that contrasts well. The Apex shares the same dimensions as an EMG® 808 so can be used a direct replacement.

Construction: The Apex has two coils with alnico V pole pieces.

Each humbucker comes with:
4 conductor hookup wire allowing for versatile wirings options.
